I’m going to write about to live alone in
Santiago. I had lived with my grandmother since 2010, when I arrived for first
time to Santiago. Unfortunately she died three weeks ago, and now I’m the
manager of the house. Obviously it involves many advantages but also disadvantages
for me. In the first place, I clearly got more individual freedom, so I can do many more things than before. Before, it was very limited for me, for example it really
bothered me when I came late to the house in the night and I saw that my
grandmother had locked the door from the inside because she forgot that I was going
to arrive late. So now, this situation will be different. On the other hand if I’m the manager of the
house, I will be the responsible for the bills management like the water,
electricity, gas and others. In this way I have to be very tidy and organized
with this.
Additionally I have been considering to adopt a dog
because the house in general is very huge for me. Thus I think that a dog might
be a good company in the house.
I'm sorry for your grandmother alvaro, i hope that you overcome it. You could rent a room in your house to a university partner for not being so lonely.
ReplyDeleteIt´s really hard to take care about a whole house by yourself. The dog idea it´s great, you have to adopt one ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, i'm really sorry about your grandmother, I remember funny situations about she :(
ReplyDeleteI consider that a dog will be the perfect partner :)
ReplyDeleteOuh, that complicated your situation. I hope you are well. I think the idea of adopting a dog is great.
