If I were not studying anthropology, I´ll would
like to work in the forests of Chile like a ranger, mainly natural reserves in
the south. In general you don´t need to have specials skills for this job, but if
somebody wants to work in these places, have to get basic knowledge about the
natural landscape and to know security measures in cases of emergency. Also
whereas the job involves a long time far from the society and the modernity,
you must to have much patience. Principally I like this job because it is near
to the nature and you get peace of mind, isolated of the stress and the
contamination. Obviously the disadvantage is the communication with the rest of
the world (specially your family and friends), and if something bad occurs, can
be very complicated establish contact for assistance.
Now if you want to apply for the job, is not difficult.
